Becoming a landlord wasn’t the plan. We’ll handle it like it was.
You relocated, inherited a home, or just couldn’t bring yourself to sell — and now you have a tenant to find, a lease to get right, and repairs you didn’t sign up for. BlueView takes the whole thing off your plate. You don’t have to learn how to be a landlord. That’s our job.
And here’s the part that matters when you didn’t choose this: you’re paid when we perform. No management fee unless the rent is collected. No leasing fee until a tenant is actually placed.

Most people don’t set out to own a rental. They end up with one.
If you’re holding a property you didn’t plan to rent, you’re in good company — and there’s nothing wrong with renting it well while you decide what’s next.
You kept your former home
You moved, the timing to sell wasn’t right, and renting it made more sense than letting it sit.
You inherited a property
A family home came to you, and selling it right away isn’t something you’re ready to do.
You relocated for work
The move happened fast, and the house came with you as a rental instead of a sale.
You’re waiting to sell
You’d rather not sell into this market, so renting bridges the gap.
You’re locked into a great rate
Giving up a sub-4% mortgage doesn’t make sense, so you’re keeping the home and renting it out.
Whatever brought you here
The next step is the same: get it rented properly, protect the asset, and keep your options open.
Renting a home is easy to start and easy to get wrong
When you’re new to it, the costly mistakes don’t feel like mistakes until later. A lease that misses a key North Carolina requirement. A tenant approved on a gut feel. A screening process that doesn’t follow fair-housing rules. A repair that turns into a bigger repair because no one caught it. A deposit handled the wrong way. None of it feels urgent — until it is.
You shouldn’t have to become an expert in landlord-tenant law to rent out one house. With BlueView, you don’t. We handle the parts that carry risk, so an unplanned rental doesn’t turn into an expensive lesson.
All leasing and tenant screening comply with applicable federal, state, and local fair-housing laws.

We’ll tell you honestly — keep renting, or sell
Renting isn’t always the right answer, and we won’t pretend it is just to manage your property. As part of your rental analysis, we’ll give you a straight read on whether holding and renting makes sense for you, or whether selling is the better move given your goals, the market, and the numbers.
And if selling turns out to be the right call, you’re still in one place. BlueView is a licensed brokerage — the same team can handle the sale, so you’re never starting over with a stranger.

Renting one home shouldn’t feel like a gamble
Our standards are built to take the worry out of an unplanned rental.
- Paid when we perform. No management fee unless rent is collected, and no leasing fee until a tenant is placed. If you’re not earning, neither are we.
- A repair-approval threshold you set. We don’t spend beyond your number without asking. No surprise bills.
- The annual portfolio review is included. Once a year we revisit whether renting is still working for you — at no extra charge.
- Direct access to your manager. A real person who knows your property — not a call center.
Frequently asked questions
I’ve never been a landlord. Is that a problem?
Not at all — most of the owners who come to us this way have never rented out a home before. You don’t have to learn landlord-tenant law, screening rules, or lease requirements. We handle it, and we explain anything you want to understand.
What does management cost?
Our focus is fit and value, not a published price list — and we’re structured so you’re paid when we perform: no management fee unless rent is collected, no leasing fee until a tenant is placed. Once we understand your property, we’ll put it in writing. Request a Service Proposal and we’ll walk you through it.
What if I’m not sure whether to rent it or sell it?
That’s exactly what the rental analysis is for. We’ll give you an honest read on holding versus selling. If selling is the better move, BlueView is a licensed brokerage and the same team can handle it — no starting over.
How do you choose a tenant?
Every applicant goes through credit, criminal, eviction-history, income, and rental-verification checks — with human review, not an automated decision. All screening follows applicable federal, state, and local fair-housing laws.
What happens if something breaks?
We coordinate repairs with vetted vendors, up to a repair-approval threshold you set. Anything above that number comes to you first, with a recommendation. You’ll never get a surprise bill.
Do you handle short-term or Airbnb rentals?
No. BlueView manages long-term residential rentals in the Charlotte metro. We don’t manage short-term rentals.
